Rise of the Infected
From out of nowhere he's there, flashing hideous teeth.[/i][/font][/color][/size]
The scene is Brenshaw, a city that has succumbed to a lethal virus. It's been a month since the initial infection, and most of the city is now in ruins. Some speculate a local ominous research company is responsible for the outbreak, though no one knows for sure. All we know is that the aftermath is gruesome. One bite, that's all it takes. One single bite and you turn into one of those mindless killing machines. [/size][/color]
Panic in the crowd, we're brought to our knees.[/i][/font][/color][/size]
You're running out of options. The epidemic has spread to all the nearest states, so leaving the city won't accomplish much. Don't count on getting rescued, either -- whatever's left of the military is falling apart. [/size][/color]
Back to the darkness, back on the mountain he stands.[/i][/font][/color][/size]
The only one you can depend on is yourself. You're going to have to stock up on supplies, remain level-headed, and most importantly, choose your friends wisely. After all, people show their true colors when put in dire situations. To overcome this crisis, you're going to have to survive each other.[/size][/color]
You can't fight a shadow, you can't kill a dead man.[/i][/font][/color][/size]
While some deranged survivors can pose as a threat, the infected are your primary foes. These savage cannibals can force an unlikely duo to work together simply because they're strong in numbers. Although they're often referred to as zombies, they are not the slow, rotting corpses that you would imagine. These flesh-eating creatures can run. Fast. You'll no longer think logically and act purely on instinct. You'll feel an uncontrollable urge to kill those around you, and the rest is history.[/size][/color]
