you may wake up one day to find yourself in a foreign and confusing land. there is no yellow brick road to lead you away or grinning, disappearing cat to speak cryptic sentences. there are no riddles to solve and no quests to beat; you're stuck.
mortals fall into this place all the time. by accident or purpose, no one can ever say. you don't really remember your life before you got here, and you don't really care. if you're a mortal, you're mind is more occupied with surviving than anything. the immortals of this place -- whatever it's called -- are usually unkind to mortals and especially merciless toward half-breeds. the lands are divided blatantly. there's something inexplicably cruel and unforgiving about this place, and even if you can't put a pin on it, you know it's there, waiting for you to make one mistake.
so what did the mortals do? they decided they were going to make a rebellion against the immortal hierarchy. while the immortals would usually want nothing to do with the mortals and their escapades, they certainly can't have any rebellion. so instead, they're going to try and smother the mortal anarchy as best they can while still looking nonchalant.
no one knows who's going to win. it's up to you.
