Pokemon Trading Card Game (!)

Hai! It's your favorite, friendly, neighborhood Linnie here! Who all has Pokemon cards? And which are your top five faves?

My Faves:
1. Charizard
2. Mew
3. Raichu
4. Dragonite
5. Typholsion (not sure I spelled that right)

Wow. I have a binder full of a good couple hundred of them like a stack 6 inches tall or so. I remember the day I alphabetized them by type. Good times, anyway my fave cards are:

1.Kangaskhan I wanted a baby Kangaskhan so bad when I was little :<
2.Nidorina
3.Dewgong
4.Ninetales
5.Vulpix

I own all those ones for sure. Dewgong's art is so pretty ;-;

OMG I LOVE Dewgong's artwork. Whoever made that card did a good job of it.

You alphabetized yours by type too? Sweet!

I could stare at that Dewgong card allll day [not really], but it is indeed really pretty. And I thought I was the only one who did that : D

Hm. I still have a million of them, but I never actually put them in a binder. They're all just in an old box that used to hold baby wipes. (Perfect trading card storage size, ftw.) I don't really have favorites, but if I had to pick:

In no particular order:
-Glalie (it was glittery, holographic, and it's ability let it take 40 POINTS OF DAMAGE off of whatever attack went after it. So if the attack did 40 or less damage, it did nothing. At all.)
-Regirock EX (again, really nice card art, and it was a special edition)
-Ancient Mew (self-explanatory)
-Mewtwo (original edition)

I didn't really 'play' the game, I just collected them.

Ah, I can't remember most of the cards I had when I was a kid. I think they're all buried somewhere in the boxes in my basement. ^^;;

-raises hand- That is, until some older kid offered to trade his holographic something-I-forgot (I think it was a Fire-type of some sort...?) for my Typhlosion line that decimated every player I faced. Took me an hour to decide whether to battle or collect x3;; (I went with the latter in the end)

I never battled I only collected my favorites were my Dark Raichu and Dark Meganium ^^

I used to battle my brother. We'd just split up our cards (we shared them until he left for college and gave them to me ) and duel.

I don't like the new cards. The old-style (gens 1 & 2) were the best

I never played "for real". My cousin was three years younger than me and didn't understand the real rules, with the energies and such, but he was the only person I had to play with. So we only used the Pokemon and just played like in the video games. xP
